If somebody puts a gun on my head and asks me "what's your 3 favorite Fayrouz's songs", this one will be one of them.

You know, I was debating which song of LF is the best. Still didn't find the answer, and quite frankly, I doubt I will any time soon. However, this one will rank high on the list. Very high.

Timeless. It might even make angels jealous.

Caught the tail-end of this song earlier today on the radio, so had to come here to find the full version :)

Not only this is one of my favorite Fayrouz's pieces, but I'm starting to thing it might be the best Arabic song written in the modern era.

Posting this one for obvious reasons :) First time I've seen it, too.

From the same concert above (Kuwait, 1966). Link.

Man, what happened to Kuwait. I know, the bearded people descended on us one dark night. Sigh.

Sorry to bring this subject up. When will Muslims have the same tolerance to others as Christians?

[Lady Fayrouz is a very strict Christian].

Side note. A family member actually attended LULU in person. They saw Lady Fayrouz in LuLu!!! Can you believe that!!

It's one of those rare instances that you wish you were born a bit earlier. Like a few years earlier.

My worry is to be hit by a TATA bus and die before seeing Her Majesty in person. That would suk big time.

Not seeing her, that is.

I bet not many people know about the above. Not even Lebanese people.

Great piece, great energy. Beautiful music too.
